The first issue of SINOPSE, the new magazine from the NOVA FCSH Libraries, is now available. This publication marks the beginning of a new cycle, with a new designation and the aim of bringing the academic community closer through books and literature. The first issue can be read online.
With a brief and accessible reading proposal, SINOPSE aims to give visibility to the Faculty's initiatives, promote the exchange of interests and experiences among students, professors, researchers, and staff, and value the bibliographic heritage of its libraries.
This inaugural issue includes a new section dedicated to personal libraries of the NOVA FCSH community, featuring the library of João Luís Lisboa, a lecturer in the Department of History. It also includes a thematic dossier on the Spanish Civil War (1936-1939), the subject of the bibliographic exhibition “1936-1939: Fractured Spain” at NOVA FCSH, running from September 29 to November 14 in the atrium of building C.
With this launch, SINOPSE begins a new phase, establishing itself as a space for sharing, discovery, and appreciation of books, literature, and the academic life of NOVA FCSH.
