The 2026/27 academic year begins with information regarding the enrollment process for students admitted in the 2nd phase of the National Access Competition and special contests at NOVA FCSH. Online enrollment and registration will take place from October 1st (from 10:00 AM) to October 3rd. Should difficulties arise, students can visit the Balcão Único de Estudante on the 1st floor of Tower B. Classes are scheduled to start on October 6th.
The degrees in Translation and in Languages, Literatures, and Cultures have a specific enrollment process, with detailed information available online. It is crucial that online enrollment and registration at NOVA FCSH are completed by October 3rd, 2026, otherwise the place will be forfeited and made available in the 3rd phase of the competition.
Access to the InforEstudante platform, where procedures are carried out, requires specific credentials. For those admitted via the National Access Competition, these are the DGES credentials sent by email on September 30th. For special contests, the credentials used for the application are to be used.
At the time of enrollment, payments include €35 for administrative costs, €13 for school insurance, and €157 as the 1st installment of tuition fees (€1750 for international students). Payment, made via multibanco or homebanking, is automatically validated. It is recommended to keep payment receipts, as validation in InforEstudante may take up to 1.5 hours during periods of high volume.
Students applying for a scholarship from the Social Action Services must send proof to balcao-estudantes@fcsh.unl.pt. In these cases, only the school insurance is paid initially, with remaining payments deferred until the scholarship award outcome is known.
Necessary documents for enrollment include the Citizen Card and the DGES admission email. For special contests, InforEstudante access credentials are also required.
On the first day of classes, October 6th, students can collect their welcome kit at the check-in desk (Avenida de Berna or Campolide) between 10:00 AM and 12:00 PM. There will also be a Speedfriend activity on Avenida de Berna at 12:00 PM and a social gathering on the -1 floor of Tower A at 6:00 PM.
Enrollment certificates and transport pass declarations are available on InforEstudante. The NOVA FCSH Student Card can be requested via Caixa Geral de Depósitos or the CaixaOnBoarding platform, with a temporary card also available on InforEstudante and a Digital Card in the NOVA FCSH app.
