The National Museum of Archaeology (MNA) premieres the series «Classical Archaeology Today» on October 15th, featuring André Simões, a professor and specialist in classical culture.

The series, which will be launched on the museum's social media, features five initial episodes focusing on themes such as childhood, education, marriage, and death, based on archaeological artifacts from the collection.
André Simões will analyze the stories and symbologies of various artifacts, revealing traditions and customs of Roman society. The initiative aims to showcase the MNA's collection, which is currently closed for renovation works.
The production, by Três Vinténs, ensures the collection continues to reach the public through the perspective of a recognized researcher. The series is a collaboration between the National Museum of Archaeology and the CLENARDVS Association — Promotion and Teaching of Classical Culture and Languages.
“

"Classical Archaeology Today is an opportunity to discover, or revisit, the MNA's collection, at a time when it is closed for renovation works."
