This Saturday, October 10th, at 4:00 PM, the "Edp New Generation" race will take place, starting and finishing at Rossio dos Olivais, with a circuit on pedestrian paths.
On Sunday, October 11th, the Hyundai Half Marathon and the EDP 8k will begin at 9:20 AM, starting on the deck of the Vasco da Gama Bridge. The Half Marathon will finish at Praça do Comércio, while the 8k will conclude near the statue "Homem Sol".
Due to Sunday's events, the usual traffic disruptions are expected in several areas of the city, including Rotunda República da Colômbia, Avenida D. João II, Praça Príncipe Perfeito, Av. Ulisses, Rotunda República Argentina (with access to Alameda dos Oceanos), Rotunda Expo'98, and Avenida Mar Vermelho (with access to Alameda dos Oceanos).
