There are people before whom we don't need to explain who we are. People who know how to listen, who seek to understand, and who give us space to exist without fear. In Imitação dos Pássaros, that figure is Filipe's grandmother, portrayed by Lídia Franco.
The play, written by Tiago Torres da Silva, features Lídia Franco, one of the most recognized actresses on the national scene, making her debut on the stage of the Teatro Variedades. She is joined by Tiago Fernandes and Baltasar Marçal.
Imitação dos Pássaros will be performed at the Teatro Variedades in Lisbon from September 30th to October 25th.
