The Portuguese Institute of Sport and Youth (IPDJ) recognized projects and entities promoting ethics and values in sport on October 15th, at the 2026 Good Practices Awards of the Ethics Flag ceremony, held at the Lisbon Youth Centre.

The initiative, part of the National Plan for Ethics in Sport (PNED), acknowledged the work of organizations fostering a sports culture based on respect, responsibility, inclusion, solidarity, and fair play, highlighting sport's role in education and social transformation.
The awards covered four typologies: Sports Clubs and Associations, Municipalities, Schools, and Other Entity Types, in the categories of Initiative, Project, Department, and Entity, as well as Honorable Mentions.
The Gold, Silver, and Bronze Ethics Flags were also presented, awards recognizing the long-term commitment of entities to promoting ethical values in sport.
The IPDJ aims with this ceremony to encourage the sharing of experiences and inspire new initiatives, reinforcing the awareness of sport's responsibility in shaping more conscious and solidary citizens.
