The National Speed Championship (CNV) returns to Estoril this weekend for the final round of the 2026 season and promises much excitement, as the titles for the PREMOTO3, JUNIOR, NAKED BIKE 1, MOTO4, SSP300 Superbikes, and Dunlop Motoval Cup Trophy (CDM1, CDM2) categories are yet to be decided. In the CNV's last visit to Estoril in September, the first National Champions of the season were crowned: Frédèric Bottoglieri in Naked Bike2, Tiago “Rafa” João in SPB, and Martim Jesus in SSP.
In the CNV JUNIOR category, the Estoril Circuit track opened this Saturday, October 3rd, for qualifying sessions. Tiago Tomé (PREMOTO4) secured Pole Position with a time of 1:59.817s, followed by Frankie Watson and Frederico Coelho. In the fight for the JUNIOR title, Simão Viegas and Carolina Azevedo lined up in 4th and 6th positions respectively. In the first race, Tiago Tomé took an undisputed victory, with Frederico Coelho and Frankie Watson completing the PREMOTO4 podium. Simão Viegas secured the JUNIOR National Champion title by finishing 4th overall, with Frederico Morais and Ana Martins on the category podium, following Carolina Azevedo's retirement.
In the NAKED BIKE Trophy, the title race for NB1 is still open between Duarte Amaral and Luís Franco, who qualified on the front row. Luís Franco won the race, with Duarte Amaral in second place. In NB2, Augusto Machado won the category, finishing 8th overall, followed by Anselmo Vilardebó and Emanuel Arrais. The already crowned champion Frédèric Bottoglieri (NB2) completed the season.
In the MOTO4 category, Alexandre Cabá was crowned the 2026 National Champion by finishing 2nd overall in the race, a result sufficient to secure the title. The race victory went to Frederico Guimarães (SPB), who also led the overall standings. Tomás Carneiro (MOTO4) finished 3rd overall. In SSP300, Lourenço Vicente was the strongest, finishing 5th overall and securing the title, ahead of Vasco Camoesas.
In the SUPERBIKE (SBK) class, the title fight between Luís Ferreira and Ricardo Lopes remains open for the final race. Luís Ferreira finished 2nd in Saturday's race, with Ricardo Lopes in 3rd. Gonçalo Capote won the SSP race, a category where Martim Jesus is already champion. In the Dunlop Motoval Cup Trophies, Dany Soares won CDM2 and Carlos Couto won CDM1, becoming champions of their respective categories.
