CIG Consultative Council Meets for 2027-2030 Equality Action Plans

The Consultative Council of the Commission for Citizenship and Gender Equality (CIG) held a plenary session on September 30th in Lisbon to discuss the Action Plans for the National Strategy for Equality and Non-Discrimination (ENIND) for the 2027-2030 period.

The meeting took place at the premises of the Lisbon Regional Delegation of the Portuguese Institute of Sport and Youth (IPDJ) and was attended by representatives from non-governmental organizations (NGOs), the Technical-Scientific Group, and the Interministerial Section of the CIG Consultative Council.
During the session, votes were held to elect the NGO representatives to the Economic and Social Council, the National Education Council, and the RTP Opinion Council.
The elected representatives are: Lina Paula David Coelho (APEM) for the Economic and Social Council; Maria Antónia Diniz Caetano Coutinho (APEM) for the National Education Council; and Carla Cerqueira (APEM) for the RTP Opinion Council.
