The headquarters of the BaticAmigo Association, located in the Bairro da Flamenga, was inaugurated after a rehabilitation process. The renovated space is the result of a Cooperation Protocol signed between Gebalis, the Fundação Manuel António da Mota, and the Association itself.
The property, assigned by Gebalis in 2024, presented significant needs for intervention. Under the program “Uma obra, um projeto” (One work, one project), the Fundação Manuel António da Mota, with the support of the Grupo Mota-Engil, financed and executed the redevelopment works.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by the Mayor of Lisbon, Carlos Moedas, as well as representatives from Gebalis, the Fundação Manuel António da Mota – Mota-Engil, and the Parish Council of Marvila.
BaticAmigo, a key partner in the area, collaborates directly with Gebalis on various initiatives, such as Bora Mexer, Talentos do Bairro, and Semana Digital, maintaining a close link with the Local Intervention Office of Bela Vista.
With these improvements, the headquarters now stands as a renewed space, focused on proximity and open to the community, creating better conditions for the development of BaticAmigo's activities and for supporting the residents of the Bairro da Flamenga.
