The Venteira Parish Council, in Amadora, donated 100 Magic Fireflies to the Pediatrics Department of Hospital Fernando Fonseca (HFF), to be distributed among hospitalized children and those attending consultations.

The initiative, part of the Parish Council's commitment to social causes and in collaboration with Cerciama, aims to "recognize the fundamental role and excellent work" of the HFF Pediatrics Department in caring for the region's children. The goal is to "extend this solidarity and offer these Magic Fireflies, so they can be distributed to children hospitalized or in consultation, as a way to bring them a moment of joy and comfort".
The Pediatrics Department ensured the distribution of the items to the children. The ULS Amadora/Sintra thanked the solidarity gesture, which helps provide moments of joy and comfort to children and their families, especially in situations of greater fragility.
