The application was submitted by the Banda Musical de Fajões, which invited Óbidos to join the consortium of territorial partners, recognizing the municipality's continuous work in education, culture, and child well-being. The project, inspired by the universe of “The Color Monster” by Anna Llenas, combines original symphonic music, theater/narration, multimedia, illustration, and lighting design, promoting emotional literacy among preschool and primary school children.
The work includes original composition by maestro Pedro Lima, dramaturgy with actors on stage, visual animation, specialized psychological consultancy, and a set of educational workshops for educators and children. Óbidos will host one of the performances of the show, as well as associated mediation actions, workshops, and educational activities, reinforcing the municipality's commitment to innovative and child-centered cultural policies.
