The exhibition, which will be on display until December 31st, features a collection of miniatures created by Joaquim Rosa Oliveira, known as Quim Rosa, who recreates scenes of daily life and aspects of Nazaré's life, work, and traditions. These small figures give shape to stories and memories that span generations, highlighting the cultural and human value of local customs.
A native of Nazaré, where he was born in 1957, Quim Rosa developed an early passion for miniatures, an interest that emerged in childhood, influenced by the scarcity of toys and the acquisition of nativity scenes and figures that he would shape.
The exhibition offers an opportunity to learn about the journey and creativity of a local artist whose work transforms small representations into testimonies of Nazaré's identity and collective memory. The exhibition provides an intimate look at Nazaré's collective memory, valuing detail, creativity, and the preservation of traditions.
