These activities are part of the district program promoted by EAPN Portugal – Leiria District Hub, running from October 12th to 24th, mobilizing public and private entities to prevent and combat poverty and social exclusion.

Concurrently, the Food Fortnight takes place from October 12th to 16th and October 19th to 23rd, with nutrition sessions on healthy snacks and combating food waste, aimed at students from the Marinha Grande Nascente, Marinha Grande Poente, and Vieira de Leiria School Clusters.
On October 15th, Bairro dos Sonhos – Garcia will host the workshop “Contas que contam” (10:00 AM to 12:00 PM), a practical session on managing household budgets, identifying daily expense waste, preventing debt, and planning small savings for unforeseen situations, organized by CAFAP Marinha Grande and the Municipality.
The “Feirinha Solidária – Take what you need, give what you can” will be held on October 17th, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, at Associação Armazém Solidário.
