The initiative aims to recognize the effort and dedication of over 1,000 student-athletes from the institution, participating in more than 30 sports.
The ceremony will feature speeches from the ULO's vice-rector, Pedro Assunção, the president of the Academic Federation of University Sports (FADU), Diogo Braz, and the sports councilor of the Leiria Municipal Council, Carlos Palheira.
Starting at 6:45 PM, awards such as ‘IPL’s Cup’, ‘Mérito Desportivo’, ‘Treinador do Ano’, ‘Campeões Nacionais’, ‘Atleta Revelação da Universidade de Leiria e Oeste’, and ‘Atleta do Ano da Universidade de Leiria e Oeste’ will be presented.
The event also includes a musical performance by Hugo Inglês and a dance act by the “No Ritmo” Dance School. The closing is scheduled for 8:00 PM.
