The Municipal Market of Ansião hosted, last Saturday, the Intercultural Market and anticipated the Municipal Equality Day, with the painting of a mural.

The Municipal Market of Ansião was the stage, last Saturday morning, for another edition of the Intercultural Market, the last one before the winter break. The event featured around eight exhibitors offering a variety of products, including cheese pastries, homemade biscuits, soaps, and artisanal jewelry.
In parallel, and in an initiative promoted by the EIVL - Equality Team in Local Life of Ansião, the Municipal Equality Day, celebrated on October 24th, was anticipated. A mural was painted at the Municipal Market with words resulting from a survey of 100 people, including municipal workers and entities from the council. Terms such as: Respect, Justice, Equity, Opportunity, Love, Dignity, Rights, Duties, Inclusion, Life, and Parity were highlighted.
“

"Each of these words represents a fundamental value for building a more just, inclusive, and egalitarian society and, at the same time, invites reflection on how, in daily life, both in the workplace and in personal and community life, we can contribute to making equality an effectively accessible right for all people."
