The exhibition, authored by António da Paixão Esteves, features images honoring historical figures, artists, and significant moments of national identity.
The opening session was attended by the Mayor of Mêda, César Figueiredo, who emphasized the importance of such initiatives in connecting different generations with the mural art that reflects the Portuguese soul.
The event also included a musical performance by the cavaquinho group from the Academia Sénior de Mêda.
The exhibition brings together photographic records of murals scattered throughout the country, honoring historical figures in politics, actors, musicians, athletes, and landmark moments in Portugal's history.
Visitors can view the exhibition at the Casa Municipal da Cultura de Mêda until November 8th, discovering the works that give voice to Portugal's history and essence.
