Government members were in Guarda following a Council of Ministers meeting, with visits to services and equipment delivery.

Following the Council of Ministers meeting held in Guarda on the 1st, the Ministers of Justice and Health, and the Minister of Agriculture and Sea, conducted visits to municipalities in the region. The initiative aimed to fulfill a decentralizing agenda and bring the executive closer to citizens.
The Minister of Justice, Rita Alarcão Júdice, visited the Palace of Justice and the Civil Registry and Property, Commercial, and Automobile Registry Offices in Guarda. The visit allowed for an understanding of the services' operational conditions and the identification of local priorities.
The Minister of Health, Ana Paula Martins, was at the Local Health Unit of Guarda, which celebrated its 18th anniversary with the acquisition of new imaging equipment. The investment of approximately 5.3 million euros, supported by the PRR, includes MRI, CT scans, and conventional radiology, representing "new hope" for the treatment of various diseases.
The Minister of Agriculture and Sea, José Manuel Fernandes, participated in the delivery of 12 forestry tractors to municipalities in the Beiras and Serra da Estrela regions and 25 vehicles for Forestry Sapadores Teams. This acquisition, with a total investment of around 80 million euros, aims to enhance the capacity for rural fire prevention and fuel management.
