The Municipality of Almeida is reinforcing the promotion of hunting tourism with the release of a brochure dedicated to hunting and fishing activities for the 2026-27 season.

The publication compiles initiatives organized by various local associations and clubs. The informational material is available at these associations and clubs, as well as at the three Municipal Tourism Offices: Almeida, Castelo Mendo, and Vilar Formoso.
A highlight is the 18th Hunting, Fishing, and Rural Development Fair, which will take place in Vilar Formoso on January 29, 30, and 31, 2027, at the Multipurpose Pavilion.
