The Municipality of Tavira has launched a public tender for the operation of seven commercial spaces in the municipal markets of Tavira, Cabanas de Tavira, and Luz de Tavira, aiming to create new opportunities for entrepreneurs and investors.

The tender includes three shops in the Municipal Market of Tavira, one in the Market of Cabanas de Tavira, and three in the Market of Luz de Tavira. These spaces are strategically located and have the potential to boost the local economy.
Concessions will have a maximum period of 10 years, including renewals, providing stability for future concessionaires in municipal facilities frequented by residents and visitors.
The minimum global compensation fees per shop are as follows: €5,000 for Lots 1, 2, and 3 (Municipal Market of Tavira); €1,000 for the "Padaria" Shop in the Market of Cabanas de Tavira; and €500 and €250 for the "Verde", "Vermelha", and "Azul" Shops in the Market of Luz de Tavira, respectively.
Interested parties can submit their proposals until 5:00 PM on November 19th.
Through this initiative, the Municipality of Tavira aims to enhance the attractiveness of its municipal markets, encourage the creation of new businesses, and boost the local economy, strengthening these spaces as hubs for proximity and development.
The tender documents and further information are available at the municipal services and on the Municipality of Tavira's website.
