The Municipal Council of Silves has announced the provision of free bus transport for all individuals wishing to participate in the promoted walks. The initiative aims to facilitate access and encourage the participation of a larger number of citizens.
The Parish Council of São Bartolomeu de Messines has informed that a new season of the 'Marchas Passeio' (Walks and Strolls) is about to begin. These walks are an initiative of the IPDJ (Portuguese Institute of Sport and Youth), with the support of the Municipality of Silves and the Parish Council of São Bartolomeu de Messines itself.
Registration for the walks must be completed by the Wednesday prior to each event's date. The main objective of these 'Marchas Passeio' is to enable the participation of as many people as possible, promoting physical activity and social interaction.
