Throughout its ten editions, Jazz nas Adegas has contributed to diversifying the municipality's cultural offerings, bringing music to spaces beyond conventional venues and creating new opportunities for artistic enjoyment. This commitment reflects the importance of public investment in culture as an essential dimension of collective life, and in creating initiatives that bring artists, audiences, and the community closer together.
The program kicks off on November 6, 2026, at Quinta João Clara, with a performance by Feel Good Band, followed by a second session on November 7. In the following months, the series will feature different formations and musical approaches, encompassing various jazz styles and related sounds. Among the artists and projects for this edition are Low Tech Groove, Scooby 4 Tet, Betty and the Boopers, Sonic Bloom Jazz Collective, Silves Filarmónica Combo, Sofia Moreira Quarteto, Diga Diga Doo’s, Al Guitar Duo, Jaime Almeida Trio, Marta Santa Maria Trio, OJA, Funky Noise, and The Invisible Tuba.
The program will visit various wine producers and estates in the municipality, including Cabrita Wines, Quinta do Francês, Quinta do Barradas, Quinta do Malaca, Paxa Wines, Barranco Longo, Quinta do Rogel, Patuá Wine, Quinta dos Sentidos, and Convento do Paraíso. The connection between the musical program and these venues helps to raise the profile of the producers, promote local wines, and boost the economy by integrating culture, tourism, and productive activity.
The initiative aligns with a vision of local development based on valuing endogenous resources, cooperation with cultural and economic stakeholders, and the involvement of institutions and the community. Marking its 10th edition, Jazz nas Adegas reaffirms the role of culture in building a more dynamic, cohesive municipality connected to its identity.
Tickets for the initial sessions will go on sale starting at 4:00 PM tomorrow, 10/22/2026, through the BOL platform and at FNAC, Worten, El Corte Inglés, CTT, Pousadas da Juventude, and Quiosques Serveasy. Priced at 35 euros, tickets are for individuals aged 18 and over and include concert access, wine and tapas tastings, a voucher for a visit to Silves Castle and the Municipal Museum of Archaeology, as well as a complimentary bottle of wine.
