On Friday, October 30th, the Municipal Library hosts the session [Entrelinhas: Conversas Literárias para Leitores Destemidos] at 6:00 PM, focusing on the crime, suspense, and horror genres. On Saturday, October 31st, the Municipal Market will feature an Italian gastronomic demonstration, part of the Sábados no Mercado, and the International Blues Festival: São Blues em São Brás de Alportel.
Saturday also includes the Walk “A Day Outdoors”, organized by the Agrupamento de Escolas José Belchior Viegas, with 5 and 10 km routes. Registrations are open until October 30th. Music continues in the afternoon with a DJ at Oribá Café Cultural and the International Blues Festival on the stage of São Brás Cineteatro Jaime Pinto.
The Museu do Traje hosts the presentation of the book «Sha'ban Amor ao Luar», by Dr. Renato Santos, at 3:00 PM. Simultaneously, at the headquarters of Grupo Desportivo e Cultural de Machados, the 3rd Festival da Azeitona Britada takes place, including a Regenerative Beekeeping workshop.
The Municipal Library promotes, at 4:00 PM, the creative session [A Crescer e a Aprender] for children, celebrating Halloween. At the same time, the project “Horse-Assisted Therapy” will be presented at Poço Largo, Baixa Lusitana, offering a new therapeutic and community response.
The week begins with cinema on Monday, November 2nd, at 7:15 PM, at São Brás Cineteatro Jaime Pinto, with the screening of the film [“O Meu País Imaginário”] as part of CinemaLua.
