The Serra do Caldeirão will be the stage for the return of the Blues to the Algarve. The festival divides its program between two distinct locations: the Municipal Market, during the morning, and the Jaime Pinto Cine-Theater, in the afternoon, bringing together artists from Portugal and abroad.
Starting at 10:00 AM, near the main entrance of the Municipal Market, John Wolf will perform with the participation of students from the Municipal Dance School of São Brás de Alportel. This will be followed at 11:00 AM by Alison Boardman & Ukulele (Sunshine Portugal) Friends, in a morning that invites the celebration of the Blues.
In the afternoon, starting at 4:00 PM, the Cine-Theater Jaime Pinto will host the rest of the lineup. The stage opens with Ceratónia Blues Combo (4:00 PM), followed by the Spanish duo Mingo Balaguer y Little Boy Quique (4:45 PM). The closing act is scheduled for 6:00 PM with El Pavoni Harp & His Rockin’ Trio.
Before the concerts at the Cine-Theater, the public can enjoy a social moment at Oribá – Café Cultural, on the 1st floor of the cine-theater, with a musical selection by DJ Herr Blues.
This edition coincides with the Ceratónia Blues Artistic Residency 2026, promoting exchange between musicians and artistic creation, reinforcing the presence of the Blues in the Algarve region.
SÃO BLUES EM SÃO BRÁS aims to be a meeting point for artists, the public, and the community, valuing local culture.
