The event, which took place at Vale Faro Park, combined a diverse program of crafts, creative workshops, children's activities, and musical moments, fostering a space for outdoor sharing and learning.
The musical component was a highlight, featuring proposals ranging from sustainable workshops to building instruments from recycled materials. Workshops included techniques such as loom weaving, felted soap making, and botanical art, encouraging the exploration of creative expression.
For younger attendees, the program included traditional games, activities in dedicated tents, and the eco-story “A Árvore em Mim” (The Tree in Me). The initiative “Algas à Tela – da Praia à Arte” (Seaweed to Canvas – from Beach to Art) connected marine elements with artistic creation.
Well-being and healthy eating were also featured, with pilates and yoga sessions, talks, and a therapy area. A workshop on “Mediterranean Lunchbox” was part of the first day's offerings.
Musical performances at Vale Faro Park included Medicina Laurinha, a violin concert by Isabel Carvalhaes, and a saxophone concert by Ricardo Jesus.
The councilor of the Albufeira Municipal Chamber, Maria Cristina Corado, attended the initiative, which linked environmental awareness with community engagement and participation.
