The event, which alternates the starting point between the two municipalities each year, begins on Friday, September 25, at 2:30 PM, with visits to the Mafra National Palace and the Museum of Music. The first stage continues from 6:00 PM, linking the Mafra National Hunting Estate to the city of Mafra.
On Saturday, September 26, at 8:00 AM, the route to Reguengos de Monsaraz begins. Participants will pass through the Serra de Palmela and Setúbal, where the convoy will cross the Sado River by ferry towards Troia, then proceed to the rice fields of Alcácer do Sal.
The ride will continue to Évora, including a visit to the Roman Temple of Évora. There, journalist Rui Cardoso from SIC will give a historical presentation of the monument. Arrival in Reguengos de Monsaraz is scheduled for 8:00 PM.
On Sunday, September 27, the third and final stage starts at 9:30 AM from Reguengos de Monsaraz. The route includes a visit to Monsaraz, with Rui Cardoso providing an explanation and interpretation of the medieval village and its monuments.
In Monsaraz, participants will engage in traditional games proposed by the organization, Prolama, which will determine the winners of this edition. For the third consecutive year, the ride includes an environmental initiative: planting nine trees, one for each edition, in a space at Herdade da Barrosinha.
The social initiative is also repeated, with the donation of three wheelchairs to three private social solidarity institutions (IPSS) in the municipality of Reguengos de Monsaraz, where the event concludes. The ride is supported by the municipalities of Reguengos de Monsaraz and Mafra.
