The Municipality of Mora received a working visit from the President of CCDR Alentejo and the executive member of the Alentejo 2030 Program to discuss funding for local projects.

The Council of Mora hosted, last Friday, a visit from Ricardo Pinheiro, President of the Commission for Coordination and Regional Development of Alentejo (CCDR Alentejo), and Tiago Teotónio Pereira, executive member of the Alentejo 2030 Program. The working meeting took place with the Executive of the Municipal Chamber of Mora.
During the meeting, various projects of the Municipal Chamber were discussed that could benefit from funding under the current community framework. The objective is to promote the development of the Council and improve the living conditions of the population.
Among the projects under consideration are the funding for the work on the Oficina da Criança (Children's Workshop), the requalification of the Parque Ecológico do Gameiro (Gameiro Ecological Park), and interventions in school infrastructures. These areas are considered important for local development and for enhancing municipal facilities and services.
After the meeting, the delegation visited the Fluviário de Mora (Mora River Aquarium), one of the main points of interest in the council and a relevant facility for the environmental, educational, and tourist enhancement of the territory.
This visit served to strengthen institutional dialogue between the Municipal Chamber and regional entities, allowing for discussions on funding possibilities for strategic projects and the identification of opportunities for the Council's future.
