Pink umbrellas, decorated with awareness messages for breast cancer prevention and early diagnosis, are coloring various locations in the municipality of Mora.

The initiative “Hats of Hope – Together in Breast Cancer Awareness”, integrated into the celebrations of the Month of the Elderly, involved the Private Social Solidarity Institutions (IPSS) and the Santas Casas da Misericórdia of the municipality in creating these symbols of hope.
The hats can be found until the end of October at the Mora House of Culture, the Cabeção Cultural Center, the Municipal Council building, the Parish Council of Brotas and Pavia, and in each participating care home.
The awareness message will also be present at the Elderly Month Walk, bringing the initiative to the entire community.
