The new R4 student residences in Oliveira do Hospital, promoted by the Polytechnic University of Coimbra (UPCoimbra), will be inaugurated this Thursday, November 5th, at 2:00 PM.

The ceremony will be attended by the Rector of UPCoimbra, Cândida Malça, and the Mayor of Oliveira do Hospital, José Francisco Rolo. Located in the city center, in the former Hotel São Paulo building, the R4 Residence offers 98 beds, distributed across 56 double rooms and 14 single rooms, with 5 rooms designated for users with reduced mobility.
The project, funded by the Recovery and Resilience Program (PRR) under the National Program for Higher Education Accommodation (PNAES), represents a total investment of approximately 3.68 million euros.
This new infrastructure aims to strengthen the accommodation offer for students of the School of Technology and Management of Oliveira do Hospital (ESTGOH), contributing to making the institution increasingly attractive to prospective higher education students.
