The meeting, which took place at the Góis Municipal Library António Francisco Barata, was attended by eight participants in person, with three others joining remotely. Throughout the session, several works in Portuguese were recommended, available for borrowing at the library.
Among the titles suggested by participants were "Estação das Chuvas" by José Eduardo Agualusa, "As Memórias de um Espírito" by Germano Almeida, "Pai Nosso" by Clara Ferreira Alves, "Dona Flor e Seus Dois Maridos" by Jorge Amado, and "Hoje Estarás Comigo no Paraíso" by Bruno Vieira Amaral.
The discussion also included works chosen by the participants, covering different genres, authors, and themes. These included "As Filhas do Terramoto" by Domingos Amaral, "A Rapariga de Auschwitz" by Eva Schloss, "O Rapaz do Pijama às Riscas" by John Boyne, "Terra Abençoada" by Pearl S. Buck, "Os Poemas Possíveis" by José Saramago, "Frankenstein" by Mary Shelley, and "Quarta Asa" by Rebecca Yarros.
Stephen King was also featured with "Conto de Fadas", "Billy Summers", and "Bem-vindos a Joyland". Other works mentioned included "Só nos Resta o Tempo" by Amy Tordoff, "Impostora" by R. F. Kuang, "Memória" by David Lagercrantz, "Eu Espero..." by Davide Cali and Serge Bloch, "Minha Mãe Meu Amor" by Maria Teresa Horta, and "No Azul que Nada Devolve" de Lara Ramos Alves.
