The Noble Hall of the Parish Council of Santo António dos Olivais hosted, on September 30th, a meeting with representatives from the three School Groupings of the Parish, as well as from the Parent Associations of Kindergartens and Primary Schools (EB1) who were available to attend.
The main objective of the meeting was to reinforce the coordination between the Parish Council, the Schools, and the Parent and Guardian Associations, promoting the sharing of ideas, the identification of needs, and the joint construction of responses for the children and young people.
Several topics were addressed, including the preparation for the Carnaval dos Pequenitos 2027, the creation of a Parish Children's Choir, and annual support for Parent and Guardian Associations, as well as the fight against child poverty.
The project “Olivais Todos Jogam”, to be developed in 2027, which aims to organize an inter-school tournament for students in the 1st Cycle of Basic Education, and study support for students in the 1st and 2nd Cycles with difficulties in Portuguese and English at the Centro Social Partilha e Saber Dr. Fausto Correia, were also discussed.
The Parish Council of Santo António dos Olivais thanked attendees for their presence, availability, and all shared contributions, emphasizing that educating, caring, protecting, and creating opportunities is everyone's responsibility.
