The senior group, under the direction of maestro Cristiano Barros, was present at the I National Festival of Senior Arts, promoted by ANGES – National Association of Social Gerontology. The event, which took place at the Pavilhão de Atividades Económicas, brought together institutions and senior groups from across the country, offering a day of culture, conviviality, and sharing through various artistic expressions.
The festival highlighted the role of art as a vehicle for inclusion and the valorization of active aging, demonstrating that talent and creativity know no age limits. The performance by the USFF Cavaquinhos Group before an enthusiastic audience was a standout moment, praised for its musical quality, dedication, and team spirit.
