The João César Monteiro Auditorium, at the Arts and Entertainment Centre of Figueira da Foz, was the venue last Wednesday, October 7th, for the 5th edition of the Portugal Business Summit. The national event brought together entrepreneurs, managers, investors, and representatives from various economic sectors.
Under the theme "People, Intelligence, and Business," the meeting addressed current challenges and opportunities in the business world, with an emphasis on areas such as Artificial Intelligence, innovation, digital transformation, leadership, talent, sustainability, and investment.
In the opening session, João Martins, a councilor representing the Municipality of Figueira da Foz, highlighted the ongoing investment in the municipality and the commitment to creating and qualifying infrastructure and industrial areas, aiming to attract new investments.
The councilor mentioned the future aerodrome and the importance of preparing the territory for tomorrow's businesses, stating: "We want that when an entrepreneur is deciding their next investment in our country, they put Figueira da Foz on the table, without the slightest doubt."
This vision is based on proximity to entrepreneurs and investors and the valorization of a diversified economic fabric, which includes industry, commerce, tourism, and a new generation of companies focused on innovation, technology, energy, and the blue economy.
The event provided a day of knowledge sharing and the creation of new connections, with Figueira da Foz at the center of discussions about the future of the economy.
