Manuel Jorge, a regular collaborator behind the scenes at the CAE, where he coordinates the technical team, was the protagonist of an event celebrating his passion for photography and travel. The exhibition '29Kaminhos.es', which will be on display until January 3, 2027, features images captured over twenty years and approximately 8000 kilometers walked on the Camino de Santiago.
The exhibition, which brings together fragments of a journey made of steps, time, and searching, includes photographs taken with mobile phones from various generations. These images, according to the official note, hold the capacity to "look and find meaning in what so often goes unnoticed by us," something no technology can manufacture.
The inauguration was attended by Manuel Jorge's family, friends, and work colleagues, as well as the President of the Municipal Assembly of Figueira da Foz, José Duarte Pereira, and the Councillor for Culture, Cláudia Rocha.
The statement from the Municipality of Figueira da Foz emphasizes that "this house is not just made of shows, stages, and applause. It is made, above all, of people. And of the stories each one brings with them," inviting the public to find their own path through the exhibition.
