Penamacor hosted, on Saturday, October 3rd, a stage of the I Forum of New Thinking, an initiative that debated topics such as Artificial Intelligence, Arts, and the legacy of Fernando Paulouro Neves.

The I Forum of New Thinking – “Ca(u)sa Comum” arrived in Penamacor on Saturday, October 3rd, with debates focused on Education, Culture, Arts, Literature, Territorial Development, and Journalism.
Organized by the Fernando Paulouro Neves Institute (IFPN) with the support of the Municipality, the initiative began at the Teatro Clube de Penamacor with the panel "Arts – Who is afraid of AI?", exploring the relationship between the Arts and Artificial Intelligence.
At the same venue, the book “Abril – Mil Razões para ter Esperança” (April – A Thousand Reasons to Hope) by Fernando Paulouro Neves was presented, in a session moderated by Manuel da Silva Ramos and José Lopes Nunes.
The event culminated with the inauguration of an exhibition dedicated to Fernando Paulouro Neves and the 25th of April at the Municipal Museum of Penamacor.
This exhibition, linked to the book published in April 2026, features 53 texts by Fernando Paulouro Neves that address the 25th of April, freedom, democracy, memory, and hope.
The exhibition includes 17 works by various artists who interpret the writing and universe of Fernando Paulouro Neves, creating a dialogue between word and artistic expression.
The exhibition can be visited until November 8th, during the opening hours of the Municipal Museum.
