ANAFF – National Association of 'Freguesias' announced significant achievements for 'Freguesias' and the strengthening of Local Power, resulting from the 2027 State Budget negotiations in the Assembly of the Republic.

Among the main victories are the increase in the 'Freguesias' Funding Fund (FFF), ensuring no parish will receive less than in 2026, and a reinforcement of approximately 50 million euros in the FFF, beyond the initially planned amounts.
The Right of First Refusal for 'Freguesias' to Acquire Properties, under conditions comparable to those of Municipalities, was also recognized. Additionally, the possibility of accessing medium-term credit for financing housing projects has been opened, with its finalization dependent on technical definition in the final wording.
Negotiations regarding the increase of Lisbon's Administrative Reform will continue.
