The VIII Diabetes Conference of Nordeste Transmontano took place between October 28 and 30 in Macedo de Cavaleiros, fostering knowledge sharing and reflection on diabetes challenges.

The event included a nutrition workshop, internal medicine doctor discussions, and poster and oral communication presentation sessions, promoting learning and valuing professionals' work.
It featured participation from specialists, including Professor João Sérgio Neves as guest of honor. Attendees included Miguel Abrunhosa (Chairman of the Board of Directors of ULS do Nordeste), Filipa Faria (Clinical Director of Primary Healthcare), and Anabela Martins (Nursing Director).
