The President of the Board of Directors of ULS do Nordeste, Miguel Abrunhosa, met on September 29 with the Vice-President of the CCDR-N, Jorge Mendes, and the President of INEM, Luís Mendes Cabral. The meeting focused on analyzing the procedures and conditions necessary to implement this measure.
This initiative seeks to boost pre-hospital response capacity, contributing to faster and more specialized assistance for the populations in the municipalities of the Braganza district. The new VMER in Mirandela will complement the existing medical emergency resources in the region, strengthening the response to sudden illnesses or severe trauma.
The Board of Directors of ULS do Nordeste will continue to develop, in coordination with the relevant authorities, the necessary steps for the implementation of this response, as part of the strategy for continuous improvement of the care provided to the population.
