The municipality of Vieira do Minho was the stage, last Saturday, October 10th, for the 18th edition of the Vespa tour «Vieira do Minho Terra de Encantos». The initiative, promoted by the Vespa Clube de Guimarães, was attended by approximately 60 two-wheel enthusiasts.
With 18 years of uninterrupted organization, this tour stands as the oldest event of the Vespa Clube de Guimarães and a benchmark in connecting the Vespa community with the tourism promotion of the municipality. Participants were welcomed by the vice-president of the Municipal Chamber of Vieira do Minho, Pedro Pires, and councilwoman Sofia Rocha.
The program included a visit to the Professor Carlos Teixeira Interpretive Center, in Rossas, to learn about local heritage. This was followed by lunch at the Campo de Tiro, in Pinheiro, and an activity with EquiGarranos, offering contact with the Garrano Horse through carriage rides and horseback experiences.
The gathering continued with a snack and overnight stay at Safarigalping, in Ventosa. The event was supported by the Municipality of Vieira do Minho, recognizing the importance of such initiatives for tourism promotion, resource valorization, and local economic development.
