The company has acquired and commissioned a new dyeing unit in Vila Nova de Famalicão. This investment increases production autonomy and strengthens the offering of technical and functional knits, integrating updated equipment, a laboratory, and a color kitchen. The unit is already certified for specific order production.
This commitment is part of a diversification strategy that aims to complement the traditional fashion-related activity with the development of higher value-added technical products. In partnership with CITEVE, Trimalhas is developing a research project for the creation of a functional garment focused on performance and muscle recovery.
Concurrently, the company has been intensifying its presence in international markets, participating in reference fairs such as Performance Days in Munich, the Functional Fabric Fair in New York, and Techtextil in Frankfurt. The goal is to consolidate its presence with international brands and expand the reach of its products.
Headquartered in Guimarães and part of the Guimarães Marca project, Trimalhas continues to establish itself as an example of innovation and competitiveness in the textile industry of Guimarães, contributing to the projection of the municipality.
