The application period for the award of Scholarships, worth €1500 per year, is open until October 31st. These scholarships aim to support young people from the municipality of Guimarães who are in situations of economic and social vulnerability.
The objective of this initiative is to ensure that access to education and professional qualification is not conditioned by inequalities. The scholarships are intended for students from the municipality who are attending, or intend to attend, higher education courses or equivalent at duly recognized educational institutions.
With this measure, the Municipality of Guimarães aims to contribute to the training of higher technical professionals in the city and promote a fairer and more balanced social, economic, and cultural development.
