The awarded projects focus on the areas of telemonitoring of blood pressure, using gamification and digital tools to engage users in health surveillance, and access to orthopedic care, emphasizing service coordination to reduce waiting times.
The award ceremony took place on October 9, at the Congress Center of the National Laboratory of Civil Engineering (LNEC), in Lisbon. The initiative is promoted by the Central Administration of the Health System (ACSS), in partnership with the World Health Organization – European Region, and with the support of the European Union.
In the first edition of the IMPULSO Awards, held in 2025, ULSBE was already recognized for two projects: «Integrated Management of Complex Chronic Patients' Journey» and «Vocal Telerehabilitation Program». With these new distinctions, ULSBE now has a total of four awarded projects in two consecutive years.
