Next Sunday, October 4th, Fafe commemorates World Walking Day, an international initiative aimed at promoting physical activity and sports for all citizens.

The initiative, promoted annually by TAFISA since 1991 and supported by the Portuguese Institute of Sport and Youth (IPDJ) in Portugal, brings together communities from various countries in a worldwide celebration. The core concept is “24 Hours Around the Globe,” where, over the course of a day, local communities begin their walks at 10:00 AM, following different time zones.
In Fafe, the walk is scheduled for the same day and time, Sunday, October 4th, at 10:00 AM. The meeting point will be in front of the Pavilhão Multiusos de Fafe. Participation is free and open to all residents.
