The Noble Hall of the Fafe Municipal Council was the venue for the presentation of the "Fafe Eco Rally", a sporting event aimed at bringing visibility to the municipality and promoting sustainability.

The press conference to present the “Fafe Eco Rally” took place this Monday, October 12th, in the Noble Hall of the Fafe Municipal Council. The event was introduced by the vice-president of the Municipality of Fafe, councilor Parcídio Summavielle, accompanied by Paulo Almeida and Isabel Santos, organizers of the sporting event from My Time/Classic Clube de Portugal.
Councilor Parcídio Summavielle opened the conference, followed by Isabel Santos, who detailed the characteristics of the race. Subsequently, a cooperation protocol was signed between the Municipality of Fafe and My Time.
In his speech, Parcídio Summavielle highlighted the “great visibility that this type of sporting event brings to Fafe”, referring to it as a “championship geared towards the future”.
Paulo Almeida, in turn, stated that this competition “carries a message of sustainability”, thanking them for their welcome and reiterating that the “Municipality of Fafe has always had its doors open for the Novas Energias Championship”.
This will be the third time that Fafe hosts an event of this nature. In 2019, the city of Fafe hosted the first Taça de Portugal de Novas Energias, a competition that made history in Portuguese motorsport and led to the current Campeonato de Portugal de Novas Energias.
