ReMPsi, represented by psychologist Guia Ribeiro, took part in a roundtable focused on professional reflection, intervision, and psychologist self-care. During her presentation on October 8th, she shared the Network's journey since its inception in 2022 and its impact on valuing Psychology professionals.
Currently comprising 30 psychologists from various institutions and fields, ReMPsi has been consolidating a collaboration model that goes beyond meetings. It promotes training, resource creation, joint project development, and tailored responses to local needs.
Guia Ribeiro stressed that the sustainability of networks depends on effective practice and value creation, not just meetings. She highlighted the need for a solid organization, clear objectives, and shared responsibilities to keep the network alive.
The congress participation also underscored the crucial role of institutions in promoting network-based work by creating conditions for peer reflection and professional development among psychologists.
Trust, diverse perspectives, and ethical rigor were central themes, alongside the challenges in implementing structured intervision groups, an area ReMPsi aims to deepen.
The Order of Portuguese Psychologists positively acknowledged ReMPsi's work and dynamism, a collective achievement that reinforces the Network's significance since 2022.
This participation further establishes ReMPsi as a space for collaboration, learning, and professional development, strengthening inter-institutional relationships and the capacity to meet community needs.
