The interventions aim to improve the conditions of use and sanitation of the cemeteries in these parishes, responding to the needs of the local population.
In Fão, the municipal support is for a project budgeted at 27,300 euros, which will enable the creation of an ossuary. This structure will allow for the storage of remains in a dedicated space, with dignity and respect for families' memories.
In the parish of Antas, the municipal investment of 30,500 euros will be used for the construction of a columbarium. This new structure will provide niches for the deposit of urns with ashes, also responding to the growing demand for cremation-related solutions.
With this support, the Municipality of Esposende contributes to the enhancement of the cemeteries in both parishes, improving their infrastructure and ensuring better conditions for the management of these spaces.
