The Municipality of Braga will proceed, starting tomorrow, October 6, with new repaving interventions in different parts of the city. The works will cover Avenida Miguel Torga, Avenida Dr. Francisco Salgado Zenha, Rua de São Martinho, and the access roads from this street to Avenida António Macedo.
The interventions have been scheduled for periods of lower traffic intensity, prioritizing nighttime hours to minimize disruptions to vehicular circulation.
On Avenida Miguel Torga and Avenida Dr. Francisco Salgado Zenha, partial repaving will begin tomorrow and will be carried out entirely during nighttime hours, between 8:00 PM and 7:00 AM. The works are expected to last for a period of 60 days, in the section between the São Paio de Arcos Interchange and the Avenida Robert Smith Interchange. During execution, vehicular circulation will be prohibited in this section between 8:00 PM and 7:00 AM, with emergency vehicle access safeguarded.
Also starting tomorrow, the Municipality will begin partial repaving of Rua de São Martinho and the access roads to Avenida António Macedo, in an intervention with an estimated duration of 90 days. The works involve traffic prohibition during nighttime hours, between 9:00 PM and 6:00 AM, with potential for occasional daytime restrictions. Vehicular circulation will be prohibited on the access roads from Rua de São Martinho to Avenida António Macedo as the work progresses in those locations.
The duration and schedules of the interventions may be adjusted based on the progress of the works, weather conditions, or identified needs, with possible extensions.
