On October 1st, the Public Opening of Proposals ceremony took place in the Meeting Room of the Almodôvar Municipality's headquarters. This event concerned the sale of four land plots in the Gomes Aires Municipal Development, intended for the construction of single-family homes.
The procedure, initiated by the Municipality of Almodôvar, aims to provide land for housing construction, supporting families who wish to settle in the municipality. The deadline for submitting applications was 4:30 PM on September 25th, and three proposals were received.
The admitted bidders are Luís Manuel Mestre Candeias, Vítor Manuel Guerreiro da Silva, and André Manuel Palma Pereira. During the public event on October 1st, envelopes were opened, initialed by the jury, and the submitted documentation underwent a preliminary analysis.
The next stage will be the Public Auction, scheduled for October 21, 2026, at 10:00 AM, in the same Meeting Room. In this phase, final offers for the acquisition of the plots will be presented. The four plots in question range in area from 298.05 m² to 344.05 m², with starting bids between €14,902.50 and €17,202.50.
This initiative reinforces Almodôvar's municipal strategy to offer housing solutions and promote population settlement in the parish of Gomes Aires.
