The Largo da Praça in Faro do Alentejo will be officially inaugurated on October 3rd, at 6:30 PM. The ceremony marks the completion of an enhancement project for this public space, promoted by the Municipal Council of Cuba, aiming to restore its centrality and make it more functional and pleasant for the community.
The work involved an investment of 96,190.10 euros, with 85% funding from Portugal 2030. The intervention included reorganizing the space, creating shaded areas with new trees, improving pavements, installing modern public lighting, and rehabilitating an existing stone drinking fountain, while maintaining parking spaces.
The inauguration, organized by the Freguesia of Faro, is open to the community and will feature refreshments and musical entertainment by the duo Manuel António and Márcia, intended as a moment of fellowship.
