Milling and paving works on Rua Nossa Senhora da Nazaré, in Gafanha da Nazaré, began today, November 4th, and will last for four working days.

The intervention is part of the Road Paving Project in the Municipality of Ílhavo 2026/2027, awarded for €447,467.60 (plus VAT) with a two-year duration, aiming to enhance quality of life, well-being, mobility, and accessibility in the municipality.
This work continues the strategic plan for the rehabilitation of several roads, contributing to road and cycling safety and facilitating daily commutes. It is the second intervention of its kind, following the paving work on Rua São João de Brito, which is nearing completion.
The works will take place during normal hours, from 08:00 to 17:00, with no night work scheduled. During execution, traffic and parking restrictions may occur on Rua Nossa Senhora da Nazaré and adjacent streets.
The Municipal Council appeals for the public's understanding and recommends respecting temporary signage, avoiding circulation on the affected street during working hours, and not parking in the work zone.
