The ceremony recognized students from the 6th, 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th years of schooling, residing in the council, who were selected by their respective educational institutions. The aim is to value the work and commitment of students with the best academic performance.
The prize, monetary in nature, ranges from 150 euros for 6th-year students to 400 euros for 12th-year students, totaling 4350 euros. This year, two 9th-year students from the Agrupamento de Escolas da Branca received the same amount due to identical final evaluations.
The Municipality highlighted that the students' results reflect their commitment, the effort of their families, and the dedication of their parents. The Executive challenged the young people to use their talents in service of the community to improve life in society.
